getting photos off ipod?

I have an ipod touch that was synched to a computer that is now broke, i have photos on the touch that i would like to transfer to my iphone. But i cant get the pictures off the touch as it wants to synch to the new computer and replace them.
When i plug the iphone in to the computer it treats it as a camera and gives me an options to download the photos outside itunes but i dont get this option withe the touch. Is there another way?

There are loads of programs out there to copy stuff off ipods.
Have you done a Google search or even a search on here as it is a very popular subject.
Just do a search for "copy files from ipod"

I have done a google search but what I have found does not seem to work as The computer does not recognise the touch as anything except through I tunes. Then it want to synch and replace the pictures.

You can cancel the auto sync in iTunes.

You can then plug your iTouch into the computer and open it through Explorer like a USB, from there you can get to the photos and move them off into another drive.
