Tag Heuer Formula 1 from the 80s (i think!)

Just found a Tag Heuer formula one watch like this:



But with a green bezel & red surround, my dad gave it to me years ago, the battery is dead & the strap is gone, I'm not a watch wearer.

Cant find much info about it after a quick google, just contemplating what I should do with it? Get it going again? where could I get a replacement strap? (dont think an animal strap of whatever would do it justice!!) or flog it on ebay or somewhere?

I think you should sell it to me, im a wacth wearer and will restore it to its former glory

I've got a steel one of those, had it for years.

Get it working and sell it, prob worth between £100 to £200. I'd be interested in it in its current condition for the right sort of money......bearing in mind if you sent it back to tag for sorting it would prob cost 50 quidish to fix.
