Not sure if this is the same thing but a mate's girlfriend lives in a flat where the windows automatically frost over when touch a pad on the wall - you can also control how much they frost by rubbing the pad!!

As Plotloss says, Privalite is the stuff you are thinking of. It's about £1,500 a sq m, but then it is very cool.
Whereas the Privalite is bonded to the glass you buy, Komfort were developing a film which could be applied to existing windows / glass partitions. That was around half the cost (£750 sq m!) but unless you get the film on perfectly, you got trapped bubbles / dust etc which spoiled the look.

Has anyone here used this or had dealings with it. The nearest supplier I can find is in Dublin. We want to use it as a division between a toilet and shower area but have no ideas as to cost although we can get a sample for 250euros. Any info gratefully received.
This is the company I mentioned. I have no comment on their product as it hasn't been installed yet.http://www.smartglassinternational.com/products-se...

Saw this in Nortel's 'Broadband Centre' (when nobody knew what broadband was). Surprised it hasn't caught on - must be damn expensive.
Was that at the Concord Road site in Maidenhead?Smiler. said:
