Recent Graduate - quick change of job? What does it say?

Graduated at height of recession, always in work of sorts but very proud of my-self in managing to bag an education-relevant, respectable, but pretty low level and low paid junior type role last Summer. Not my ideal career, but close, so giving it a chance.

However for various reasons I still have itchy feet and now feeling like I'm beginning to be let down on the promises made by employer (re training, futyure prospect etc etc).

I do feel very fortunate to be in secure-ish employment at this time, especially considering how many other graduates are struggling too.

Past few days started idly looking through the usual places again. Seen something that might take my fancy so I'm gonna stick an application in.

As a potential employer, how would you view this? What would you be asking me?
And as potential employee, how should I explain/justify it?

ETA - not some huge career shift im talking about - similar kind of role, similar-ish industry etc etc... Which I guess makes it more understandable.

I did a similar thing. Simple explanation, you didn't feel that you were being offered the level of training that you were promised at the beginning. You don't feel like your career is progressing as it could be.

They will see it as a brave move in this market to have confidence in yourself.

They did for me anyway.

Just make sure that you do your best in your current job too quick a change could look like a failed probation. But changing jobs early after Uni shouldn't look too bad, provided you get a good reference and leave your current employer on good terms, did you do a sandwich course? are you looking to stay in the same industry?

I am wondering the same thing, I and an Engineering graduate and took on a costing role on the promise that i would get CAD training CATIA, nothing happend and I am working in a team of people that don't really inspire me or are at the same intellectual level. I have been for job interveiws but i keep getting rejected as i don't gave enough experiance... any tips as well?
