Best stuff for cleaning up the pedals please?

I've tried Autosol and elbow grease, but was wondering if anybody had a particularly good method to clean & polish the ally pedals, linkages and pedal box on a late S6 TVR?

I take it you don't polish the surface of the pedal you press on for the obvious reasons?

Autosol is really too aggressive to give you a decent shine. I'd suggest you look for some of the less abrasive polished like the 'Brilliant' range sold by Mike for 'The Polishing Company'

Just seen this.

I am sure the pedals on the T, sag cars are anodised.

Best way to clean is get some glue remover, as thats what usually on them, making them look dirty.

You can get the anodising striped off though

I had mine stripped and then I polished them back as they were marked etc.

Not sure on DIY, but in industry (usually min order value £100 for the right job) called 'strip anodise'

Plenty of elbow grease after strip to polish though, then re anodise (loads of colours) to seal in your hard work.
