390SE injector flow rates
Discussion
Hi all,
I wonder if one of the engine / efi gurus might be able to help me?
I got an ASNU sheet for my car, and it shows that after cleaning the injectors do 94-95 at 2.5 bar........
94-95 what?
I guess this is flow rate in CC/minute?
Can anyone confirm/deny this? Gathering information to start setting the MS2 ecu up.

Well, that seems to suggest that they ought to be flowing 190cc/min @ 3 bar - this seems incongruous with 95 @ 2.5bar.
Anyone know the units of that 94-95 figure are?
I guess I could just use the on paper figure....

Ed,
190cc limits you to about 250 ~ 260 bhp .. not really what you want to be starting with for your new MS 2 or 3 !
(see injectors and fuel supply on left hand index)

Hi Rev,
Frankly 250 - 260 would do me fine to start with. It makes 227 at the moment and if the MS-2 unlocked another 10BHP up top and some more torque I'd be happy; I'm not building a monster just yet! The main reason for doing it is to get the fuelling somewhere near correct across the rev and load range - at the moment its idling hot at 13AFR (11AFR cold!) and then runs out of juice at the top end... Also want to eliminate the s
tty old distributor - theres several degrees of play in the shaft according to my timing light. Fits the bearings like a dick in a sleeve.
They're boggo injectors, but if I happened upon a set of firehoses later, that would also be fine...

Ed,the figures you have been given are explained here, http://users.erols.com/srweiss/tableifc.htm#ACCEL click on the make of injector and play.
