Not bad. Low crime rate - Hart district has lowest crime rate in Hampshire. Surrounding area is prosperous - some VERY nice pads. As with any town it has it's share of benefit scrounging oxygen thieves.

Fleets quite nice. Have a look in to the proposed Pyestock depot though.

I live in fleet and have done for 23 years. It's ok no real issues. pyestock my jam the roads up. the town center is no good for shops excellent for pubs and resturants. I live in pondtail and it is very peacefull, no chavs and crime is unheard of.

Fleet is my home town and where I went to school. I still feel safe there walking home from the pub at night. It has changed quite abit as housing estates like mini towns have been built around Fleet i.e Ancells Farm, Zebon Copse, Elvetham Heath and with Southwood Fleet is almost linked up to Farnborough.
I like Fleet as it has always been home to me. The High Street has a good selection of pubs and restaurants. The train to Waterloo takes 40 minutes and there is easy access to the M3.
It has become more of a commuter town really. It is not rough like parts of Aldershot or Farnborough although I had the number plate stolen off my Lambo parked on my Mum`s drive in Fleet.

It seemed ok.

Although most of hook and the other surrounding steholes close in on 'jaxx' on a friday night. I prefer Crookham/Winchfield, although I admit they are villages, and probably more expensive.

I also live in Fleet, and I grew up in Farnborough so know the area and surrounding towns very well. Fleet is one of the nicest of the local towns, and as said is a nice safe place to live - and where I am its also nice and quiet. Try and look out of any of the estates, they are Ok but we lived in Elvetham Heath for just short of 2 years and although its a wealthy, clean area - it has a toy town suburbia plastic feel to it and my car got done twice. We now live in a old house in a well established part of town and love it. Well worth the premium over Farnborough, Aldershot etc

The high street is quite good as the chavs seem to stick to certain pubs (Price Arthur, Emporium etc)

The Blue triangle has some awesome pads, Hartley Witney is lovely, Winchfield, Dogmersfield, Crookham Village are all nice.

Another new estate is now under way, EdenBrook near Calthrope School. Fleet is also commuter-tastic, I work in Reading and London and its awesome for both.
