Does any one know where he lives ? I would like to tie him to an old uncomfortable chair in a dark, damp smelly room and make him watch 3 weeks of the utter SH*T adverts that he has done ....

I will never ever use that website due to the fact the channel up and down button on my TV remote has worn out, having to avoid that sh*te.

We will never use it either - on the basis of that advert.

Likewise I will NEVER buy an Aviva (Norwich Union) product thanks to their monstrous "Green Army" campaign

Both of these appeal to the lowest common denominator.

thats the whole point of adverts like that, to be as annoying as possible so it gets your attention and you talk about it. by starting this thread you are playing right into their hands

This is why I turn over when adverts are on.... Though the ba***rds are on to me and all put their ads on at the same time now..... Sometimes I just resort to muting the TV...

It turns me into the worlds angriest person instantly it generates an instant tirade of abuse. I will never ever use that website now because of that advert

If only they'd buy Jimmy Carr. And export him somewhere.

Talking about how we're never going to use it! The six people who will read this thread and haven't seen the adverts for themselves will probably follow suit. Not the best strategy in the world.

I can't say it has ever bothered me. I just ignore it.

I've been on PH for some time and hence have become somewhat adept at filtering out the inane.

Saturn? wink

I must say, I am firmly of the view that everyone involved in the making of these foul "Go compaaaaare" adverts should be rounded up and sent to the death camps. The ads are quite extraordinarily tiresome.

You can't filter the advert, unless you are watchig something you have recorded and fast forward it. It just comes on and you dive for the remote before the tt starts singing.

Its like me stabbing you leg with a pencil every time it comes on. You can 'filter it out' but you still have a pain in your leg.

Could be worse.

You could be subject to a gecko that talks with a cockney accent:

He lives in Wales boyo biglaugh

THE man behind the TV ad opera singer Gio Compario has gone off the radar.

Welsh warbler Wynne Evans performed in a string of top productions for both the English and the Welsh National Operas.

But since donning a comedy moustache for the Gocompare.com ads, judged to be among the most annoying ever made, the Carmarthen born tenor appears to have chosen to lie low for the time being.

Wynne has turned down a string of interview offers to promote his role in the ads.

In them, he sings the name of the website to the tune of George M Cohan’s song Over There while wearing a giant
moustache, a dinner jacket and a fat suit.
