External Drive Enclosure

Hi all,

Have an old internal hard drive that i need to get some data from.

local shop recommended buying an external drive enclosure - which i did.

now i am a complete novice when it comes to playing with computers but the hard drive doesnt appear to have any of the ports available to 'plug it in' to the enclosure.

the enclosure gives one of the long thin connections with all the pins and also another smaller connection - apologies for the vagueness.

i cant seem to find anywhere on the hard drive where i need to remove some form of casing?

please help, if you can!
