mk2 focus rs mountune performace upgades

any body got any news on the ford approved mountune upgrades.
i do want to get my car remapped to get the extra 40 or so bhp but don,t want to risk invaldating the warrenty so been waiting for the ford package to come out ,do you think they are going to wait until the last cars have been made.begining to wonder if they will at all.

I didn't think there was going to be a Mountune upgrade for the Mk2 RS? It's the only one worth having when based on the ST, so it'd be a great shame if one didn't appear. There's currently rumours going around of an RS Clubsport with 350bhp, so perhaps that would feature the Mountune kit as standard?

mountune have said Q1 2010 however they seem to be a little confused because they originally said no upgrade would be available, so it's a bit up in the air???

from feedback from mountune the conversion has been completed and tested a long time, a black Focus RS test mule which has been spotted out and about, the issue appears to be coming from Ford themselves exact reasoning nobody seems to know.

logic says if they are releasing a limited edition (as appears to be rumoured) with the upgrade Ford wouldn't want the upgrade releasing before hand??

I know Mountune have been working on a MkII upgrade. They have had one at their workshop since they where originally launched last year. However I wouldnt be surprised if they use it on the limited edition RS apposed to offering it as a upgrade to the 'standard' RS
