Has anyone stayed in a campsite away from the circuit. A campsite where you have had to drive to get back and forth to the circuit. If so which ones and are they worth the money?

Hi there, I have used this camp site a couple of times in the past. It's a great site, and accomodates 24'ers, whether it's bikes or cars. Book early for the resturant, if you fancy a Friday night meal. It's located about 8k north of the circuit, just off the main road in to Le Mans.

If we ever stayed off site, it would be at Bounty Lakes. http://www.bountylemans.com/
Great place, great food and the guys there are friendly and helpful. They are just outside Mulsanne village so not too far but not too close.

Last year I used Expo Numbered parking. Ticket bought in advance through Brian at 1st Tickets smile

Have to say it was great, tarmac / gravel parking area and right near the main entrance smile also easy to get in and out of smile Sorry to say I cant remember the cost as it was part of a package.

Parking Blanc, which is close to the circuit entrance sited at the start of the pits straight. 2009 cost E32.

Parking Bleu is just south of Parking Blanc too.

Look at the ACO website for the map of the circuit and all facilities including car parks.
