iPhone wifi question

I'm currently connected to a router, showing a full connection, but no icon in taskbar at the top. Just stays on edge network, do I need to tick http proxy? Cheers

No, shouldn't need to tick any http proxy boxes. I assume you have a secure wireless password which you have entered into the iPhone?

go into settings---wifi----and switch to on

Mines crap at picking up wi-fi sometimes, brilliant other times. The other day I was standing over my router and it showed 1 bar.

Sometimes mine will show nothing in the taskbar until I open safari.
