As the title suggests, do you?

It was great at school and I could really slog it.

You don't tend to hear about it being played these days.

I believe it is still played in Primary schools across the country by girls.

The same people who have played it throughout history.

Unless you spend time with the primary aged school girls you wont hear about it too much.

I remember playing it. It was great fun. Small truncheon instead of a big stupid bat. It should be in the Olympics!biggrin

By "a good mix" do you mean mainly women and a good way of getting your end away?

I seen a group of about 20+ kids playing rounders on a drive through East Lothian last summer, in a an age where kids suffer a lot of bad press I found it extremely heart warming and reminiscent of my youth.

This post has been posted by the captain and bowler of the 1970 Barnet under 11s inter school rounders championship winning team.

Read it and weep!

Do you really want to boast that you can only win a game that involves bowling underarm?

Excuse my ignorance but do you run with the bat or drop the bat once you have struck the ball.
