Off the Eastern Road heading past Morrison's. Just seen them pulling over a lot of people.

Not sure why, think its spot checks?

If they had a weighbridge set up it'll be to check diablo_pete's not overdoing the pies again

fwiw, there's also a static ANPR camera northbound side between the Morisson's junction and the top of the Eastern Road

Probably an ANPR check point to catch the untaxed and uninsured and other travelling criminals if it is on the Eastern Road.

They were pulling loads of people over (including me) on the Northam Bridge last night.
Unmarked silver Octavia in the bus stop by the traffic lights and then lots of officers flagging people over after crossing the river.
Apparently they're having a crackdown on seatbelts this month too
