Hi
I Stumbled across this forum question regarding "Lagonda by Bernd Holthusen" .. if you are still interested I have a copy to which I am thinking of selling.
The Book is in mint condition and inscribed "to George" and George being George Pitter featured in the book at page 400 in one of the cars he restored (sadly now deceased) It is in it's original mint sheath and still boxed and is a very rare item, Number of Pages - 426 - 12" x 15 George was my Father in Law and worked restoring Lagondas to which examples feature in the book. one of George's restored Lagondas was featured in the Daily Telegraph Aug 31st 2002
Palawn Press, Edition - No 225 of 1000, Date of Publication - 1996

I own the first V12 made by WO Bentley for Lagonda.
The one Earl Howe set the 100 miles in an hour record at Brooklands with in 1938.
Original reg was FPK 550, it was a saloon (now a Le Mans bodied car in later life).
I have Aston Martin & Lagonda by Michael Frostick and also A History of the marque Lagonda by Davey & May, so wondered if this book held much further info on this car ?
Thanks
Claire

wasnt FPK550 turned into a vile tulip wood and copper bodied affair in the mid 1980's?
it was auctioned in the states last year

i think the reg moved between a couple of v12 lagondas, there was some discussion in the vscc mags about it.
