Rolling roads

Can anyone offer advice on rolling roads? It's for my Land Rover not the Griff, but I thought it more likely that people on here would have used them than those in the Land Rover forum.

I would like to know is:

a) how much would a session cost
b) any recommendations for the West Midlands area
and
c) can you stick a four wheel drive on one

My truck is not performing as well as he should be and I want to know how the power is performing across the rev range, and also to have a starting point and a target for the power.

just got 10 of my mates for a rolling road test, its 20 quid for rear wheel drive and 40 quid for four wheel drive.but you need to have 10 cars book in this way its cheeper.the cars range from tvrs/gt4 /gtir /imprezas/tt/ to name but a few. so good luck and i hope you get it sorted.

don't know if it's diesel or petrol , but paul at austec does upgrades for diesels .. well worth a call .. not exactly in your area but well respected

I paid £100 for a couple of hours and some diagnostic work on my S3 at Aldon Automotive.

I've booked my stage 1 V8 in at John Noble sports in Chesterfield for a full tune and re needling on a 4wd rolling road. standard price for the 1000bhp 4wd road is £68/hr or £48 for the 2wd. They apparently do a lot of landys etc.

Can't comment on their quality yet though as I haven't gone yet.

they're excellent

plus you'll get a direct comparison against all the TVRs i've run there.

Darren is well respected in the industry, all the big names know of him .. motec / dta etc etc. He's very good and if he can't find you power no-one can!! lol

I've used Aldon's too and they get my vote....they have 2 bays....not sure if either of them is 4 wheels drive though.
