Shropshire Speed Limits

On a local discussion forum, details have been revealed (through FoI requests) that Shropshire County Council are summarily reducing speed limits in villages in direct contravention of DfT Documents, and the rules for speed limit reduction contained within.
Peter Roberts (1.8 million sigs for his anti-road toll petition, and a Shropshire resident) has contacted the forum with a view to implementing a "pressure" group to highlight the poor science and thinking behind these proposed speed limit cuts. The first meeting is at The Feathers at Harley Bank (next to the A458) near Much Wenlock on the evening of 16th February.
