I've fouled up the synch between my W7 machine and my LG KF300 phone.

The phone has a separate memory card. I've moved music files across from computer to device using explorer and it's worked fine in the past.

I tried using synch as in WMP but it took for ever and at the end of it I couldn't find the files on the phone.

Looking at the file list in explorer, they appear to be there, but the phone can't find them.

I've tried taking the card out and putting it in a reader and moving the files about, but the phone just won't see the music files in that part of the card.

so; what have I done that's stopped the phone fro seeing the files, and how do I get it back?

What exactly does synch do? It takes forever compared with just copying using explorer.

Actually fairly pissed off because I've spoiled a really handy music player - I really like the simplicity of that phone for handling the music.

Odd.

Any changes I make to the card, aren't seen by the phone.

If I add files via cable connect or by using the card directly in a reader, the phone doesn't see the changes.

I can reformat the card from the phone, but that's all.
