Flat Battery Season....Charged and now wont start!

Hi everyone, 'tis the season for flat batteries.... Ive just re-charged mine, reconnected and the car wont start, just turns over, seems no fuels getting to engine. Also fuel gauge not registering, and door lock wont open from outside and central locking and key blip not working. Apart from that everythings normal!!!
Any ideas???

well the fact that the key fob isnt working suggests that either the battery hasnt held the charge or that it hasnt been reconnected correctly.

Batteries fully charged....turns over fine as usual, no problems there. Key fob makes hazards flash but doesn't operate central locking???

Is the fuel pump pumping?

Sounds like you've disturbed one or more of the fuses/relays as you were disconnecting/connecting the battery. Check each one, that should fix it.

I suspect that the immobiliser has thought that someone is trying to break in by disconnecting the battery.... As a result it is not energising correctly so there is no power to ECU or fuel pump. The immobiliser on some cars would deliberately show no gas which makes me suspicious.
