We have a draughty 10930`s semi, that has a void under it of approx 10ft and wooden floors.

a local commerical waste disposal yard is selling 10x4 sheets of celotex type foam(from a refridgerated room) for £1 each(bought 15), they have fairly thin gauge metal on the outside that i stripped and chopped the boards into friction fit sizes to go under the boards.
It made a huge diffrence straight away, all the rads in the house have been turned down and the boiler has been turned down by about 25%.

Total cost was £20 and a day to chop and fit.

Surprised that that far into the future they haven't sorted out building with decent insulation yet! hehe

How did the whole climate change thing pan out by the way.

Obviously never got that hot.

Oh, and feel free to PM me the Euromillions numbers.

Yes, I remember the thread. Good use of a bargain, and goes to show just how much cam be saved with good insulation. Well done! clap
