Is anyone going?
Going to be a busy old day for me as I've got some instruction in the morning, then my ARDS test!
Plus, it's a shake down for my newly built car.

No problem Matt. Anytime you see me there be sure to say hello.
It was good to meet you, and hopefully you'll get some good snaps later in the year.

Hi Matt, Me and some of "The Boys Toys" mob were at Oulton yesterday, you should of come and said Hi, as you are more than welcome to jump in the passenger seat for a session or two. thumbup

Fabulous day yesterday, long time since I`ve had decent weather conditions (apart from the brief snow shower for an hour or so yikes) as the last three occassions it`s lashed down!

Hi, Matt has mailed me asking about pics from Oulton yesterday, I'll have a look through them as soon as I get a chance and post a link back here.

Edit: I've uploaded pics to http://www.flickr.com/photos/ianparker1/ Only low res versions, if anyone wants a bigger version let me know.

Thanks Ian. Do you mind if I link them on a couple of other sites, and post them on my site? (with appropriate thanks of course!)

thumbup Cheers, The 106 looked well on track, I presume it was a shakedown day for you as there appeared to be a lot of fettling and adjusting going on in your garage?scratchchin

Hi Ian, as you have mentioned above, I would really appreciate any high res pics of the three Golfs (MK2 Black and Green/ Mk3 Red), the White Vectra V6 Cup car and the red 205 GTI 1.9. Many Thanks in advance, Cheers. thumbup

Yeah it was a busy day. That was the first time I had ever driven it. I had no idea what to expect. Unfortunately I cooked the brakes early on so didn't want to push too hard. Plus I was spending more time trying to get my lines sorted.
I also had my ARDS test during lunch. I was the muppet out in the VX220 convertible when it was snowing. It was bloody cold.

Yer it was a little bizarre when it was snowing and it was quite heavy at times yikes. I expected to have a few moments but it was surprising how little the grip levels reduced? scratchchin
Was a great day all round, especially as we seemed to have the whole circuit to ourselves due to the limited numbers on the day, along with a very good standard of driving with only one red flag incident all day if I recall. thumbup

I've got quite a few images (48 images and 100MB), I'll see if I can get them hosted somewhere or I can send a CD if you want
