Anyone else notice the new spray markings on Kanes Hill roundabout this weekend ready for permanent application sometime soon?

What idiot at HCC has decided to mark the right hand side of the approach from junction 7 as straight on/turn right!! Have they never seen the traffic on that roundabout at rush hour? Thornhill Road cannot cater for merging traffic of of the roundabout so it will just gridlock the roundabout worse than it already is.

So now as you approach from junction 7 you will have two 'lanes' of traffic for straight on in to Thornhill Road.

Genius!

Morning all by the way!

LOL, yeah, I don't think the painters are the sharpest tools in the box are they? They wouldn't notice if the words were, ahem, mis-spelled!

I did seriously think about changing that straight ahead arrow for a right turn one.....................

That roundabout and the whole run up from junction 7 used to be fine until they put the traffic lights at the junction with Hinkler Road!

and until they put lights on the motorway roundabout, muppets.the lights at hinkler are a joke.but must admit the hinkler junction was a "hot spot"I have even been in a fender bender there before lights were there.

Yes, there's been a few epic fails when it comes to road management, the junction with Deacon Road and Ruby Road/Middle Road where that stupid jutty out bit is, and if anyone remembers the very short lived traffic lights at the bottom of the west bound on slip at junction 7 M27? I mean what turnip puts traffic lights at the bottom of a motorway slip road!? But I see they are still in use around the UK in places, and here's me thinking slip roads were for matching the motorway traffic speed........................
