Help with party idea

Hi, I want to ask the PH collective for some advice on a party I'm going to.

The theme is 'unusual food' - I have to take some unusual food for everyone to try AND also dress up in a way that reflects that unusual food.

So, your task should you choose to accept it is twofold - food ideas and constume ideas.


Possible ideas in the running so far are:

• Roast bison from farmers market and dress as a red indian
• meatloaf / Meatloaf
• liver pate, faver beans & chianti / Hannibal Lecter
• Something from www.pimpmysnack.com
• gravy ice lollies / eskimo

Thanks for the ideas, liking the insects in a bag - could go as Ray Mears. Or that tt Grylls.

Will have to do some more research on pimp my snack and see what could be suitable...

Termites on a bit of wood. Find a rotten branch full of termites and take it to the party. When you are ready to eat bang the branch into your hand and get a load of juicy wriggling termites. They pop like caviar and taste quite nice.

Get yourself down to 'Pets at Home' and buy half a dozen Guinea Pigs as they are a Peruvian delicacy! Then you can wear a Poncho, a hat and some panpipes around your neck!

Or you could just use some Rabbit or Chicken and tell everyone it is Guinea Pig!

Guinea Pig has lovely crackling and rabbit and chicken don't so it won't fool anybody.
