If you could have any colour vader interior on a cosmos black E36 M3, what would you choose?

Just has to be black (in any car). Any other colour will only exaggerate the age of the interior.

agreed, black is the safest colour, looks good in mine and i have a Cosmos black/Black leather combo.
Would quike like the imola red/ black combo you sometimes get in M5's as an alternative.

I voted for cream, but that would only if the cream is the leather and the rest of the interior is black, ie, the individual spec.

Anyone any idea how or where the word "Vader" came from in relation to the M3 seats? I dont believe it was ever used by BMW.

Black again, looks the best with age, lighter colours tend to show marks and cracks more.

Not sure I've seen red on an e36 before

Look at the front seats of an E36 M3 coupe and therein lies your answer young padewan.

I was actually mulling the idea of changing the leather colour to red...

Tart.

Cream for seats and doorcards looks classier.

Although I guess those seats will never really look all that classy, sadly.

Do it. Its your car and dark red leather suits black cars really well imho.

Cream. Cream Vadars will look great in a black coupe. I find black interiors so drab.

I once went to look at a 328 coupe in cosmos and it had a great looking interior.....the guy said it was safron....not quite tan but not quite yellow. Really nice contrast.

I used to think; black leather only I will not have anything else; but I ended up buying a car with the silver leather interior and yes it has been refurbed and looks good (it will show signs of wear quicker) but it is very much growing on me. It is a nice change from dark and drab black.

Same. I am growing a bit tired of black everywhere. It just seems a bit sombre inside. Was thinking of giving the old girl a spruce up with a red interior.
