What a stunning set of performances from Amla for his double 100 and Steyn for his 7 for. India are being given a good lesson. Can't wait to get home to see the highlights, and might need to pull a sickie in the morning!!!!!!!

And India have now gone back to the Tea House with an innings and 6 run defeat to ponder!

The lad was running into some form at the end of the series with England. Happy we got away with him on fire for just 2 tests smile Amla is a decent bat...and a cracking beard...so a dbl ton is a good knock. What is India's bowling attack like these days?

Not looking good at all in the 2nd test, time for the ALL of the top order to play their part and not only 2 at a time

Thank goodness for the 4th day rain, but we will need a lot more rain to avoid defeat, 3 bloody top order batsman already out cheaply. Only Amla keeping up his end.

Can we please borrow Onions for the last session?????????? We desperatly need someone to stay with Amla till the close of play. State of play is 3 wickets left with one session to go, Amla is 106 not out, his 3rd succesive 100 this series!!

We missed the draw by 9 bloody balls!!!!!!!!!!

Well done to Amla for an average of 494 for the series, incredible performance from the man with the best beard in test cricket. Three tons in three digs with one out.

Great Test cricket - sporting pitch, nailbiting finish and a noisy crowd. Shame there isn't a 3rd Test.

Amla was class throughout but Sehwag's destructive innings and Singh's good bowling did it for India.

It's amazing how many top sides collapse at Eden Gardens. It looked like a formality for SA when they were 200 odd for 1 on day 1.
