Purchased a Masterpiece MP7009 just before Christmas. Within 3 weeks it had started gaining 30 minutes a day! Took it back to the retailer and they ordered a replacement. Worn it for 3 days and its stopped working !! Love everything about the watch except its reliabilty ! Should I stick with it and get a replacement / repair or ask for a refund? Surely this brand must be better than my experience or is this brand just not reliable?

Have had a masterpiece double retrograde for nearly a year and had absolutely no issues whatsoever. Nothing I saw online before I bought it gave me any concerns; I;d say return it and get a replacement. Lovely watches and for me perfectly reliable.

I own a Miros the same as this : http://www.timeway.ch/Maurice-Lacroix/Miros/Mauric... and have had it now for a good few years. It's not worn that often but I've never had any issues with it at all. Sounds to me that something is wrong their end if you've had 2 of them and they're still faulty. A bad batch maybe? If it were me I'd just ask for a replacement whenever it goes wrong. These sort of items, as we know, are (supposedly) designed to last for years and years.
