Mintex do a "BrakeBox" which is a set of discs and pads, supposedly matched.

They seem terribly cheap (around £50 for the set for the Mondeo), but Mintex seem a well recognised name.

Anyone tried them, and any comments?

I've done, probably, around 80,000 miles with Mintex front discs and pads on my Lexus GS300, and they have been fine. Based on my experience, I'd recommend them to anyone.

Ended up with Apec pads and discs, plus 1 litre of fluid for a complete fluid change, all for £65 all in.

The Mintex box sets are fine IME, they are just reasonable quality OEM equivalent disks and pads. Nothing special, but not ultra-budget crap either.
