My chimaera (4.3, lahvley) is currently running a pirelli p6000 one side and a toyo the other at the back - due to my having to source a replacement tyre in darkest Wales and not having a lot of choice/time. (the cause being side-on impact with kerb, I'll leave you to fill in the details...)

Question is - am I courting disaster running it like that (no major hooning planned until at least late Spring...) - handling seems generally fine - possibly a very slight drive to the right when right foot planted and a lift-off to the left.

Diff (LSD) wind-up ?

Not really recommended but not illegal providing they are the same size and type (radial/crossply)

Are they identical sizes? If they have different rolling diameters you'll wear the diff out a lot faster than normal.

they're rated/labelled exactly the same, but it does seem likely that (at least with temperature variation etc taken into account) they are likely to be fractionally different - don't know what the multipliers are ...(?)

Due to the fact that I go through a set of rears every 6 weeks or so I often have different rears due to cheap sources!! Never had a huge problem with it and they do get pushed to their limits!!

You're gonna die soon without a decent matched pair on a car with this level of performance. 'Fraid you need to do some more shopping and then congratulate yourself on having a spare with so much unused tread on it!
