Amsterdam. Park up. Explain various €500 withdrawls to OH as 'speeding fines'. Job done.

No, 'cause you'd do that for nine days, not three biggrin

Both the Champagne region and Alsace offer a lot in terms of driving, scenic roads and gastronomy. Either one is ideal for 3 days.

This is what i'd do

Day 1: Zeebrugge - Luzern 7.5hr drive
Accomodation: campsite is cheap and cheerful
Day 2: Luzern - alpine driving around Andermatt(there are 5 or 6 passes all in 1 big figure of 8, so can easily be done in a day, includes Furkapass)
Accomofation: either back to Luzern or stay in Interlaken
Day 3: Luzern/Interlaken - Zeebrugge 7.5-8 hour drive
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&source=s_d&a...redfaceberwald+to:interlaken+to:zeebrugge&hl=en&geocode=FRJBDwMdte4wACnHsVcElqnERzGG6BLm7TYY2A%3BFRjczQIdDMZ-ACnrfDucdfuPRzHMlwqyDfu9Ww%3BFbyPxwIdhCWDACmz27AjjHGFRzEDkrJ3mp0UGQ%3BFRP4xQIdFGqDACnlA11ns3WFRzHwVxlAiP8ABA%3BFW4NxgIdz1x_ACnf2U9Myn6FRzGAZxlAiP8ABA%3BFStdyAIdHt93ACmdHt7EXKOPRzFs7_q9v6KlZg%3BFRJBDwMdte4wACnHsVcElqnERzGG6BLm7TYY2A&mra=mr&sll=48.929718,5.921631&sspn=5.391968,9.854736&ie=UTF8&z=7

But thats just me.....in actual fact i think i'd go even crazier than that, depends what the point of the trip is, if its just simply to drive i think i'd go

Day 1: Zeebrugge - Werfern(Austria)
Day 2: Werfern - Fussen(Germany)
Day 3: Fussen - Zeebrugge

Had the same dilema recently, 4 day road trip permisiion grated from SWMBO, spent a while weighing up the options and it always came back to "the Ring". So that's where we are heading, catch the early Friday ferry, there in time for the evening session, two full days at the ring, then a late ferry back Monday so we can get over sunday nights blowout at The Comfy Corner.

Thought about popping to Stelvio one of the days, but it's simply too far.
