well when I drove through the centre and it was a small street with a pub at each end with a bakery and a few shops in the middle it looked like a village to me. I bow down to your greater knowledge though.

The Site looks really useful, now could you persuade West Berks to do the same please?

Thames Ditton is not a cluster!! It blurs into surround urban areas such as Molesey, Long Ditton and Surbiton. If it wasn't for official designations, you probably wouldn't realise you've entered a "village". Some arse referred to the crap shops round the back of Surbiton high street as Surbiton village. What an arse.

From my experience, it gives some detail:

- Go to
- Click on 'Map'
- From my experience, you can rely on every road within the live Internet Explorer window to be a potholed mess

I think they tried to launch a pot hole 'arrow' feature in version 2 but it ended up looking like a mongolian clusterfk led by Taz the looney tunes tasmanian devil. In that respect, it actually also resembled most local council planning meetings.

Pot holes are much funnier navigated at speed and with the ski sunday music playing. Slalom-tastic.

yes, really weirdly I was referring to the bit in the middle of thames ditton
where there is a small high street with a few pubs, a bakery and a post office, what would you call that exactly?

Dunno. I wouldn't have thought "village". "Row of shops" is the best you'll get out of me. It might have a "villagey" feel but so do the conveniently placed shops round the corner where people stop and chat to the baker and the pub landlord.

Looks good, really quite useful.

However, once a radio button is selected, I can't de-select it.....not good.

Possibly. Just don't call it a village just because it has a village feel. thumbup
