Afternoon,

My other half passed her test about 8 years ago but after a nasty accident (she was the passenger) she has suffered from a real lack of confidence, she wasn't super confident before, but effectively gave up driving soon after her test pass, she now feels it may be time to get back behind the wheel.

We are living in reading which is all new to me so i have no local contacts, do you guys know a driving school or instructor that woud be really good with a really nervous pupil ??

Any help gratefully received.

Thanks.

A couple of suggestions.
http://www.drivesurvive.co.uk/ Have been on two days with these guys in the past and they really are very good. Staffed by ex-BiB traffic cops, the day is very much geared to awareness, anticipation, road positioning etc. I did it as part of my companies policy to reduce rta's so not sure if they cater for individuals or not but could be worth a call.
http://www.paul-ripley.co.uk/index.php The more literal side of road safety, seminars etc. Might be something of interest in there tho.
