Differences?

Are there any mechanical differences between an early Griff 500 and a later one? Or any differences at all for that matter? I am under the impression the very last few had a few cosmetic and interior revisions? Cheers

How early are you thinking.

Early 500 had differnt Gearbox and Diff to later ones.

Look at that bracket on the swirl pot - pump. They even vary on the pre-serps. TVR must have shifted the swirl pot slightly, some have the 'lipped edge' all the way round & flat others aren't lipped on the short side and seem offset as far as I can tell I think yours is the one that clamps on a serp front cover (upgrade) easier BTW Andy from what Ant said.

Which on the face of it is exactly the same as my pre-cat.

Mine's the same spec as Quinny's but with 6 years of dirt and cr*p in the engine bay.
