Alternative brake fluid to 'Jaguar Super DOT 4'

As per the question, is there a standard alternative available off Halfords shelf, or do I need to visit the Jag dealer?

Care in question is an S Type 2.7D 05 plate

Any good quality DOT 4 fluid is likely to be OK, e.g. Castrol / ATE etc.
