Final piece of the puzzle !!

Well finaly i have the last piece of the Noble project puzzle ,lightened flywheel was collected from Neil Brown Engineering (01775710570) today managed to take off 2kg's of weight !!!! now finaly i can get it all back together !!!

they also balanced my clutch as well which was a mile out !!! i hope to god when its all finished its been bloody worth it !!

I hope there are no pieces missing from the jigsaw - good skills and I really wish I understood the mechanical side of engines

To be honest our spare bedroom is starting to look like a noble parts center !!! No problem on the hoses Dave , SFS have just sent me all my new red intercooler hoses they look pucker :-)

sfs have just done mine too. thanks simon and they managed to get me 1.2m lengths as my turbo cooling pipes are just over 1m.

What did they provide for the intercooler pipes - I have sent them an email but wondered whether they provided direct replacements or a series of bends and joiners - the Noble pipes are clearly not a straight pull from their catalogue. Also do either of you have the hard pipe kit which has a significant impact on the silicone requirements?

Any photos?

Also what are the best fasteners - Jubilee, Mikalor or another?

Hi Dave , I've got a hard pipe kit to fit in the next couple of weeks , sfs have supplied me with new red silicon hoses !!!! Very posh they look. Too !! Best to speak to Lee if you need any bits ,

Thanks Simon - I have emailed and will follow up with a call tomorrow. Just suspect we all have slightly different piping with different engines/intercoolers etc and I don't want to cut any new hoses to make them fit. I did cut the original Noble pipes to fit the hard pipe kit and they look a bit crap as they never cut straight and I am too much of a perfectionist - also quite fancy some blue hoses to waste some money on

Dave , black pipes I got with my pro alloy cooler were very poor !! Don,t know how they will fit yet .... Will let you know ..... So far I think I have the same engine and bits as you .... I think ??

Not sure - I have Pro Alloy hard pipe kit (aluminium) but I believe the Pace intercooler with fan attached? I had to cut the original Noble hoses to fit the hard pipe kit.

Ok Dave , sorry thought you had a proalloy cooler , cutting these pipes is a bit of a issue guess I will have to have a go !!! Lee at sfs should be able to sort you anything you need but they. Might need trimming !!

better than OEM, but not as efficient as Pro-Alloy (dual core). I'd lose the fan - it's only effective when you're stationary and just hinders air-flow when you're moving.
