I can recieve mail fine, but just can't send anything. Checked and recheck several times, but i can't find anything wrong. Anybody else had trouble with this?

Are you trying to send through a server other that Tiscali? As far as I know, they blocked this about a year ago?
No just normal tiscali servers. smtp.tiscali.co.uk Disabled work VPN client and no change. Maybe a firewall option, tried the wifes account and the same.
Sorted, needed setting to port 25 for smtp. Never had to change a setting before from Outlook 97 to 2007. Still progress eh? How the hell would a non technical user ever figure that out?? Kept me confused long enough as a long established geek. (Alledgedly).
