Seems to come from the top area, but near the screen

The two vents which direct air onto the screen, my one became loose once and needed a new clip... They pull out and push in so you should be able to either fix yourself or ask a dealer to for you.

Yes it looks like the only thing which could come loose. But there is a central grill which doesnt seem to seat properly.

Under warranty? Dealer will sort it for you...

I also had extra wadding put in my doors to stop some rattles by my dealer.

I got this weird rattle like you explain... Its coming from behind the satnav ... pinging noise, really irritating... Apparently rick told me its a cable that runs along the bulk head sometimes you can get to it by removing the stereo.... Mine has gone into dealer to sort out... will see what happens. Only happens with varying speeds.... Supposed to be quite common.

Can't hear these specific rattles as my entire centre console appears to be held in place with loose screws. Overall effect is like driving along with 5 quid's worth of loose change on a tin plate.

OK, maybe I exaggerate a little but it's a perpetual problem. Worse when the car is cold, ao all the bl00dy time at the mom, but once warm the sections must expand. I can cure most of it by resting my hand firmly on the gear surround.

Suffice to say it's on the top of the dealer's list to fix when it's serviced in a couple of weeks. I understand there is two sided tape supposed to be in between all the adjacent metallic surfaces, so will ask them to pay attention to that. But you'd think they could just cram a wad of cotton wool in there or something - god, it's annoying

I had the same - ratles behind the sat nav most noticeable when the car warmed up. Several atempts by the dealer to resolve, but through elimination it proved to be a loose bulk head bolt. Praise be to hand built cars....
Now its fixed nothing beats an Aston mind you.

Well aimed squirts of silicon spray between any joints also helps tremendously

Dash vents, centre speaker grille(clips),springs in the sat-nav lid , and the one that is the hardest to find , as mentioned loose bulk head bolt.

All bar the last very common.

Guys,

Can someone please tell me where the bulk head bolts are? Under the leather panels? Taken every panel out on the dash to find a metal jangle noise (like coins in a metal coin tray as noted above) and cannot for the life of me source where it is!!

Thanks
Lewis
