The other day I saw part of a program informing us that Africa is beginning to get connected to broadband on a large scale(although they have probably been trying for years, but have been stuck trying to configure AOL).
So perhaps we need to create a guide to the internet, with everything you should not miss, for these happy Africans(or any visitors from space that have a wireless connection).

I genuinely cant understand what the deal is with 4chan. It seems to be stereotypical computer geeks getting off to cartoon porn and abusing/stalking people on the internet.

It's the source of all the internet funnies out there. All the funny emails you receive from your mates and forward on were probably originally thought up on 4chan. It's the largest and most active internet forum in the world and one of the last few bastions of real free speech. as a wise man once said: The geek will inherit the earth
There's also www.b3ta.com for a toned down version of 4chan.
