It may not be anywhere near where you are but try Buckinghamshire High Performance; ask for Neil.

Be careful, they may not have a "proper self drive insurance" in place.Ram K

Oh, nearly forgot... these guys may be better placed to provide this as they are a day-hire operation. Good guys, have worked with them before:

Hi, If you are still looking for a good, reliable supercar hire company, I can help you with this. Give me a ring on: 07881 581374
Strangely enough, when I checked your profile - churchill Super car hire.....On the home page, there is a Lambo Murci Roadster - LJ07 USC was hired by an Asian and crashed it....see this thread :- http://pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f... hires and then crashes an orange 2007 lp640 roadster
Do you sub rent this to a A1 Prestige in Bradford ?????
Yes, I used to run Churchillsupercars. We had a great fleet of cars including the Orange LP640 that was crashed in Bradford. The repair bill was north of £100k, so as you can imagine, our insurers declared it a write off. Due to many factors, we have now sold most of the cars on the Churchillsupercars fleet and I am working for another company doing the same thing. Check out my (updated) profile to find out which company as I can't publicise it on here....
As for the Lambo - yes it was sub hired to a company in Bradford but not the one you mention. As I previously mentioned, our insurers have paid out for this car, and I can assure you that they checked every detail of the case and it was all perfectly legitimate. The guy driving declared that he was doing 25mph (which I doubt)! On the grapevine, I heard that there were two of them racing that night in Bradford which would not seem too far from the truth if you watch the youtube video on the thread (there were 2 LP640 roadsters on the video). I obviously have no proof of this!
As you mention, having proper self-drive insurance is of utmost importance. Many of the supercar hire companies out there will just be 3rd party brokers and not own any of the cars on their website. They will just source them from suppliers such as us. Or, they will be cars owned by private individuals and the cars may not be properly insured. Always speak to someone at the company before hiring and ask those questions - 'Does your company own the car?' etc etc. I have heard so many stories of people being let down by hiring cars through 3rd parties.
Anyway, I could talk about this for ages. Get in touch if you'd like to know more. My number is in the thread above.

The crashed lamborghini murcielago is for sale again fully repaired but with different wheels for £180000 by west side cars.I was told by someone that the car sold at auction for £70000 in the damaged state but I'm sure a damaged lambo isnt worth that mcuh. Any comments
The OP stated that is was written off by the insurers, so it would be HPI recorded and dealer would have to declare it.132 said:
