Looking forward to the new S60

Hi guys hope this is as good as they are saying it will be.Fed up with my BMWs ride and expensive.Trouble is I wonder if the 205bhp twin turbo diesel offering is going to match BMWs diesels that are (for what they are) fast and economical.Solidly built as well TBH

I've not seen the figures, but be amazed if volvo has got anywhere near the economy AND performance of the BMW engine.
As I undertand it, the new Volvo diesel is a reworking of the current 2.4/D5, which isn't anywhere near the BM stuff in terms of economy.

I am prepared to be corrected though?!

Car looks good on Volvo website, interior looks good too with central screen for sat-nav/ipod etc similar to Audi AMI and BMW i-Drive. Sadly I still need an estate, but I think if they fitted the s60 interior into the V70 body, that would be a great car - anyone know if Volvo planning to do that as previous generations of s60/v70 shared interior?

Seriously considering this as my next car, and the D5 is a four wheel drive.
