Ok only got half of half term week (2nd half) had a ski holiday booked but had to cancel the flights due to personal reasons.

Anyway I now need options for the Wed-Sun (or Tues even - Sun) the plan had been skiing and the total cost was only £260 flights with free accomodation however due to the fact we can no longer get there were after other options.

Scotland has seriously crossed my mind to go skiing - but where else can we go that will not be too pricy.

Teacher wife so its strictly back on the Sunday.

Options would be great.

You haven't got much time, so you won't be going far.

Reading - Glasgow by car is an 800 mile round trip and
about 11 hours driving. The weather will be atrocious and
so you will be mostly indoors.

Suggest asking wifey what she wants from M&S special occasions
ladieswear section, a crate of Champagne-style North African turpentine
and a few nights relaxing in a romantic B'n'B on the Isle of Wight ?

On a motoring theme, you could visit Beaulieu on the way
back as well.
