I sometimes rue the day when murder was added to the statute book. I had some spotty tnuc in a Transit run me off the road onto a verge on purpose earlier today, all because I deigned to overtake him on a motorway entry slip where there are two lanes marked with appropriate white lines, but where this clearly meant that I might join the main carriageway before him. He then proceeded to offer the wnaker sign when I protested.

Should the law be re-written to make it acceptable, under such cirumstances, to drag the offender out of their vehicle by their nostrils and methodically remove each limb with said machete, then explain to them how they could improve their road manners whilst the remaining blood leaks from the 4 large holes you have just created?

Shouldn't this legal question be in SPTL? Anyway, I think that would be way over the top, and would likely leave your clothes spattered with blood too. I think a good caning would suffice, 6 of the best, just the job.

+1 yes blood is diffcult to get out, dont want to ruin your clothes op!
6 of the best would be good that way if you see he hasn't learnt his lesson in the future you can bring out the machete then!

No, because I'd only end up with Von asking me whether I shouldn't be thinking about whether I could have avoided the blood stains on me by acting differently.

I'd be more concerned that I couldn't out drive a spotty in a tranny van to be honest and certainly wouldn't post about it on here! biggrin

Of course!

But only by "Peachy's Death Squad".

It's all in my manifesto.

Even the slightest breach of Highway Code should be punishable by summary roadside deathjustice.

Also -

- Spitting in public;
- Not covering ones mouth when yawning;
- Parking ones trolley carelessly in the supermarket;
- Jordan; and
- Various others.

I look forward to your surmon on how best to avoid a large mobile object intent on ramming you!

FWIW, I collected it quite comfortably and passed him easily - which doesn't make him any less worthy of the retaliatory rapier!
