Would anyone be interested in some larger tailored overmats for their Noble? I.e. ones that turn-up at the front and reach back further (over the floor chassis member?) - would be trimmed to match the interior and be tailored to look nice, stay in place, be easy to clean, and (importantly!) to protect the fixed carpets from damage. Oh, and they might even be light-weight!

I've asked my local trimmer to design some for me (I'll post pics when ready), and if there's interest I'll see if he fancies bashing out a run. Expect price to be less than 50 quid.

Hi Marlon

I read on this forum you have recently acquired a new monza red 3R. How are you finding it apart from the 10 point list you made after your first day or two of driving it.Do you think the 3Rlooks much nicer in red than say titanium.Do you have to keep it gleaming clean for it to like the one in the brochure.I saw a black one but I was not to keen.Any comments,

Mad Max

OK - Glad to hear the positive response.

I'll update you all with pics and price when the 'prototype' is finished.

Marlon, will the Noble logo be stitched on or not?

I'll discuss that question with Noble in the interest of opportunity, but I imagine that official product branding is a whole different ball game to fitting a set of bespoke after-market mats! Personally, I just want to keep the carpets clean.

So, in the short-term at least I would assume that the answer is "no, the mats won't bear the Noble logo". However, and I'm really not suggesting that you should pick at the stitching, were the logo to "fall off" your Noble baseball cap into the passenger footwell and become attached on a stubborn arrangement of used chewing-gum it might give a similarly pleasing effect. Remember, counterfeiting is bad!

Did anything ever happen with this thread. Failing that anybody got recomendations for mats that come all the way back and cover the main bars in the floor ?
Thanks,
Rob

I've inherited some generic black rubber mats with mine. Not very attractive but they fit ok. I can check for the brand if its of interest.

Mole Valley do have some carpets fitted to their M400 demonstrator. A little more than fifty quid though - multiply by 4. I was not completely convinced by them - lots of little rectangle shapes to fit in between the dividers on the floor. Trouble is the edges turn up, and I think they might get knocked out. Worth a look though as the carpet is better quality than the existing one.

Are they like the mats the car comes with? I just have a single mat on each site under the pedals. They look nice but would get ruined in an instant hence the generic ugly rubber mats on top.
