I've Bought a Wedge - Yahoooo!!!!

[johnthegas]

I have now spent money I haven't got on a wedge I can't afford! It's a lovely looking 350 in white and we are very much in love!! To be honest the sound of the exhaust sold it
So I just thought I'd say hi to you all and rest assured I'll be picking your considerable brains when I break it!
Just in case you want to know, it's the white one from SSCC - before you start I know the interior colour is an acquired taste but it just seems such an honest car with plenty of history at the right price.
BTW anyone here from Essex and in the owners club?
John.

Damn
well done I kept going back to look at that one in the classifieds as I have decided that i need a wedge in my life. Hope you have fun with it. Did you look at the black 390@ssc? i think its weird that there are no photos of this car either in ph classifieds or on their website

[johnthegas]

I was after the black one too, but it was sold a while ago apparently. I'm suprised it's still listed.

Welcome,

I wonder how many of us bought by sound alone? But its the smile on your face that keeps you owning them.

have fun with your new toy.

Welcome John, that looks like an absolute beautey. Good luck with it. Make sure you can make the Wedge Fest in July.

[HOTTY]

hello johnthegas
nice looking wedge
It's good to be a owner, the best is to be the driver and the worst is being the payer
That is why this web site is very good --- ask the question, post your problem (hopefully they always be small) as there is always somebody to help or take the pi3s , both can be helpfully when owning a wedge.
happy motoring
Stephen

Good choice..

I to bought my 1st Wedge TVR based on noise alone... what a mistaka to maka!

I ended up spending about 4k on it just to get it usable

Yours looks nice though, i had a white 400SE a few years back, great colour for a Wedge.

Who's got a copy/link to the BBWF '04 wedding pic?

[johnthegas]

Thanks for all your welcoming comments, it's being mot'd and serviced as we speak, should be tucked up in my garage within a couple of weeks. Wedge Fest is pencilled in the diary, holidays depending!

Best way to buy a Wedge, or anything else that you might really appreciate - when you don't have the money for it!

Well done matey. I'm sure you'll get a great deal of pleasure from your car.

I'm in Essex, but no longer have a Wedge!

Nice one John!

My old Wedge was the same year, shape and colour combo as your's (pic still on profile). Did take a ribbing about what was described by some as the PINK leather interior, but as soon as I took them for a spin all mickey taking ceased!

Enjoy!

I'm just over the border in South Cambs, but Essex is a big place. We have Leigh BBW and Pistolar as notable Essex boys, there must be more lurking...

Good luck with it and welcome to the fold!

[Jonny weggie]

Welcome to the Wedgers from the boys away up north, ENJOY.
jonny.

[johnthegas]

Thanks Jonny - and everyone else!
