Dropping off trailer + car the day before?
Discussion
I'm pondering changing from keeping my track car road legal to trailering it to trackdays.
One question that sticks is whether trackday companies and circuits will let you drop of your trailer and car the day before. Reason for this is that most of the hotels I use when I'm on a trackday aren't exactly the kind if place I'd be happy leaving a trailer parked overnight given how attractive trailers are to thieves. I could unload the trailer and park it in with both cars but I can't see me being too popular thundering around at 6am reloading. I figured it would be more secure in the paddock or ideally in a pit garage overnight.
Is this something that's done or am I asking too much?

I have dropped my car & trailer off a few times at circuits the day before an event -- just ask someone where would be a suitable place & I expect all will be OK. Do make sure your trailer is as resistant to be stolen as possible!
Have you thought of insuring the trailer and trackcar for fire & theft only? not too expensive through a business like Competition Car Insurance in Nottingham
