My brother has kindly bought me the new one on contract, my old one is going to the other half.
Problem there is that the old one is pay as you go on O2, she is on vodafone.

How do you go about unlocking them for any network

Had mine unlocked on Tuesday.

You have to have £15 credit on the phone all the time, and it will take 14 days.

Mine took 17 days, but after a few calls to customer services it was pretty quick to be completed

You do need the copy of itunes that the phone has been sync'd to to complete the unlock.
