Ebay Rip off....

Just been searching for a 75-300 lens on ebay, saw this and thought it looked a bargain until you go down the page...

At the risk of missing something bleedin' obvious, why is that a rip off ?

It may not have been what you were looking for, but IMO the price doesn't seem ridiculous for what the item actually is.

He thought it was the whole lens and not just the milk-bottle-bottom strapped on the front.

'Telephoto adapter' might have been a more accurate description. But the price for whet you get seems fair.

Why is it a rip off?

Within about 2 seconds of going on to the page I knew from the title in the advert it was an adpater and not the lens.
