I've got a client wanting a new 550i, I've got a spec, wondered if you could quote price and availability, email me through my profile or mark@specialistcarsltd.co.uk

Thanks.

At the risk of sounding a bit thick is telephoning a selection of dealers not probably a more sensible idea?

Purely out of nosey interest what would make somebody wish to order a new BMW through you rather than simply through whatever dealer you'd order it from direct?

I have BMW dealers I know who are putting together a price for me, I just wanted to offer the business to anyone on PH, like I hope others would do for me if they needed a Porsche.

With the high end stuff this client buys it is all about the relationship, he buys cars at up to £300,000 from us without seeing them so knows that if I tell him a car is a good one it will be.

I thought you said he wanted a new 550i? If so, how could the car be bad if it's new?

As mark said- the guys filthy rich. Having experienced private banking many years ago, can say that rich people often don't want to do the running around and the relationship counts ie he trusts Mark and doesnt care about the extra few hundred or grand he will earn for going in between as long as he gets the car on time with little to no hassle
