Anyone Planning to go to the Sunseeker Rally?

It's an awesome event and well worth a visit as we don't get many rallies in the South of England.

The Stages run through Somerly House are good value (as the stage is run twice) and there is a small Motorshow there. Last year they also had Metro 6R4's on show, which was great.



Main day is Sat 27th Feb although a stage is run on the Friday night on Bornemouth seafront.

Yep!, been going for the last two years. I understand there is a Sunseeker Historique cup with a few real minis in . Also going as there is a Ruchard Burns car collection at the trade park stage, seen his cars before but hey. A hero of mine and such a sad loss.

Yep i will be going, But from what i see on the website there will Be No friday night stage, just a 'CEREMONIAL START' From POOLE QUAY ?..

Went last year and it was so so IMO.
Still about £25 per car though which is rather steep, so no, will not be going this year.

Yea no friday night stage which is a shame but il get over it. £25 quid aint too bad if youve got a car full of mates and theres going to be some rare cars such as an F2 Escort and an Lancia Intergrale so while there isnt a huge entry whats there should be great to watch!

I'll be going, just got to sort out which stages to do. Last year was disapointing, we managed 3 stages, only one of which ran its course (Wareham stage rerouted due to the FC damaging the surface of part of it, and a spectator taken ill on Ringwood South late in the day). Hope things are better this year, it's normally a good day out, and as has been said, we don't get to see much forest rallying in the south.
