As the title says really. The time has come to move from P38 to L322 but want to know my eggs first.

Is it easy to spot a well specc'd HSE from a Vogue? Is there stuff that only Vogues came with but that can be seen easily from a photo?

Before I commit to going to see a car (and possibly wasting a journey) is there stuff (wood door cappings, sunroof, etc..?) that could only be got on a Vogue car?

Many thanks

Ecellent, so this one http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/1460684.htm is not a Vogue as the chap siad it had no sunroof.

To be fair, his wording is poor and he claims "all the vogue extras" - IE, an HSE with a few options boxes ticked.

Notably, it doesn't have heated rear seats which were also standard on Vogues...

Tidy car though otherwise.

Yep, she looks like a HSE to me.

Nice one though.

Look at the title of the ad, it is a bit misleading!

A quick vehicle check on that reg comes back as:

LANDROVER RANGE ROVER HSE V8 2002 4398cc Five Door Estate Automatic Petrol

Simple and easy!

Many thanks Meeja - looks like I'll just keep on looking for that elusive affordable Giverney green Vogue!

e.t.a what site do you use for that lookup?

Confused.com, and entered the reg as if I were getting an insurance quote for it. (Which is entirely legit!)

Next question: what's the difference between a Vogue and a Vogue SE?

The SE has an extra bass sub on top of the dash where the little rubber tray is situated on "lesser" models. Others may add to the list but I don't think there are many extra bits. There's no space for the buttons after all.

so not really much better unless you want to black-out all the windows and put 28" shiny rims on smile
