What strikes me first Gus is that the roll bar does not suit the lower front screen, it seems out of balance somehow.
In my head a pair of twin hoops like those on a Cobra for example would dominate less somehow I think . .
I'll let Ian and Andy thrash their overall views but I think it's a refreshing interpretation of a classic and would like to see it in the flesh some day.
I wouldn't do it to mine, but that's cos I love mine the way it came from the factory in terms of aesthetics in general, but it being an SE, to others it's already modified from the original and they'll debate my rear lights until the bell tolls at the bar.
Personally I think they look much better than the originals and the headlights are not solely a technical improvement, they look silly small on the originals.
Each to their own, I think you've done a good job overall.

Can't see it 'cause it requires some super duper new Flash version, I don't want to install that right now and there's enough cr*p to slow this old warhorse of a 'puter down as it is anyway - but I always wondered what a speedster version of the Griff or Chim would be like. I think there's lots of potential in either shape to create something extra special.
Think I'd start with a car that had suffered some sort of roll damage, though...

If you look at it in the flesh there is a line that goes from the rollbar passing from the top edge of the small screen and ending on the front end that's sharp and arrow like...If I took the rollbar out the line would drop flat, creating a different design, anyhow I think the arrow-like is sharper.

Why don't you get it down to Spain with us in May...bet its faster than mine by then...

Well, I'm living in Spain at the moment and the Griffith is with me over here (of course)...I'm staying in the northern region of ''Galicia''...a nice place, just a bit different then the sunny south...infact it's a fWhy don't you get it down to Spain with us in May...bet its faster than mine by then...

Here is a video of the finished product...
http://s30.photobucket.com/albums/c338/panicinplea...
The weight saving has been huge (about 30lbs for the windshield alone... also I've ''dumped'' the stereo/amplifier and four speakers, swapped in a red top battery and got rid of the oil cooler), up to now all those who knew my Griffith before swear she looks prettier (more like a period racer) now...I must add that she's much more impressive in the flesh then in the video.
Inconveniences: you get plenty of air right on your hair (if I was taller I'd get it right on my face...), the centre of the mini windshield tend to slightly flex at speed (the lexan sheet is only 2 mm, if any of you get mad and want to do the same thing choose a 3 mm instead).
